It was my great privilege to be pastoring the church that Bob and Belva attended whilst they lived in Reading, UK.
I have many happy memories of them both, but the most vivid is that of Bob standing up during one of our Sunday evening services 25 years ago to share the grim news that he had been diagnosed with cancer in the neck and was given three years to live.
He expressed his strong intention to live those three years for the glory of God! The church, along with many others, all over the world, prayed for his healing and mercifully God extended Bob's life by a further 22 years!

Truly, Bob was a remarkable man who served a remarkable God.
