Special memories we will cherish

Dear Stuart, Sindia and all the Fosters,

We have all been blessed through the  life, ministry and legacy of your Dad. We first met Dr. Bob on an MAF flight with him from Windhoek to Lubango. We were truly touched and inspired by his love and passion for the people of Angola and Africa. As we flew over the border from Namibia into Angola, he became noticeably “alive in the spirit” and shared stories as he motioned into the vastness of then war-torn Angola. We circled around the control tower in Lubango and he cautioned  us not to take any photographs of the MIGs, hidden in their bunkers at the end of the runway. When we went to the market with him, we were amazed at all the locals that came out to greet him with respect and reverence. These are special memories we will cherish.

With you, we mourn and celebrate the  passing of your Dad to glory. We join in prayer for all of you as you grieve over this temporary separation.

May you feel God’s love, His strength, and His comfort during this time.
