I mourn his passing, but celebrate his life

Dear Stuart, Steve and the rest of the Foster family,

I want to express my condolences at the passing of your father. 
Though I never met  Dr. Dr. Bob in person, I feel I came to know him 
quite well after reading his life's story in "The Sword and the Scalpel" 
and seeing his character and attributes reflected in the lives of his children 
and in his missionary legacy in Africa. 

I mourn his passing but celebrate his life, 
courage, works and conviction, and his unwavering faith in the Lord 
Jesus Christ, which has been an inspiration to us all.  

May God grant you his peace, and comfort in the knowledge that he is now in the 
presence of our God and Savior, along with all the saints that have gone 
before, having fought the good fight and finished the race and work given 
to him by God.

What is earth's loss is certainly heaven's gain.
