Rejoicing with his Saviour

Dear Stephen Foster and family:

    Peace and grace from our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
The departing of your father, Robert Foster, is a loss to the immediate family and to the spiritual family in Christ. All those who were touched directly and indirectly by his presence and words are so glad that now he is rejoicing with our Saviour. I did not have the privilege of knowing him as others may have. 

But I was privileged to meet him around 25 years ago when I was the pastor of the Portuguese Baptist Church in Cambridge. He preached at the church and we had one afternoon together in our home. It was a blessing for all of us and we came to know about how God has used the Foster family in Portugal, especially in the Portuguese colonies. 

Our prayer is that God will bless and help each member of the family during this time.
